The 97th Annual Meeting of First Class Community Credit Union is scheduled for Tuesday, October 25th at 5:30 pm at our Westown Parkway location. All members of the credit union are invited to attend!

Do you have a strong desire to be a voice for the membership? Are you willing to take a leadership role in shaping the future of First Class Community Credit Union? If so, we would like to hear from you!

First Class Community Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial cooperative owned by its members and lead by a volunteer board of directors. Our board of directors volunteers their time and provides their expertise to ensure our members always stay the first priority.

What Does a Director Do?

A First Class Community Credit Union Director represents the credit union on behalf of its member-owners. Once elected to the board, directors oversee policy, set the credit union’s future direction, and ensures that First Class Community Credit Union operates in the best interests of its membership.

Board of Directors Election

We have three terms expiring for our board of directors that will need to be filled.

Any member interested in serving on the board of directors must:

  • meet the eligibility requirements as set forth by the board of directors,
  • complete the Board of Directors Application, and
  • return the completed application to the Nominations Committee by July 20th. Applications may be sent to firstclassinfo@gofirstclass.org or dropped off at either First Class Community Credit Union location.

        

The Nominations Committee consists of current board of directors members Carol Cowling, Robert Saxton, and Marc Swanson. The Nominations Committee will submit their three recommended candidates to the board of directors on July 25th. At that point, nominations may be submitted through petition until August 25th, 2022. Any member interested in serving on the board of directors that was not recommended as a candidate by the Nominations Committee will need to submit a petition with 100 member signatures along with the Board of Directors Application by August 25th to be on the ballot.
