First Class Community Credit Union is calling all members interested in serving on the board of YOUR credit union! As a not-for-profit financial cooperative, our board is comprised of elected members who volunteer their time to represent the entire membership and make decisions on their behalf.

If this is something that you might be interested in, keep reading to learn more!

Time Commitment – Volunteering on the board will require a small time commitment each month, but board members are rewarded with the unique opportunity to use their voice in setting the future direction of your credit union. You will be asked to:
• Serve a 3-year term
• Attend monthly board meetings and assigned committee meetings (if applicable)
• Attend the Annual Meeting – this is a fun event!

Experience – Don’t let age, perceived lack of experience, or any other reason stand in your way of applying for a board position! Interested members with strong leadership abilities and the desire to serve your credit union are needed! Serving on the board of directors may even help you build skills and gain experience that could help your career or other areas in your life!
