Reflecting on 100 Years of First Class: Lance Coles

Lance Coles has been a member of our credit union since 1978, and his long-standing commitment shows in every decision he makes on the board. “I want to be a voice for the members and help the credit union grow,” Lance says.

Over the years, he’s been proud to help improve employee working conditions and benefits, while also listening closely to members to understand what they want from their credit union.

For Lance, what makes this credit union unique is its personal touch. “It’s small enough that it knows a lot of the members and isn’t just another bank,” he explains.

Celebrating 100 years is a milestone he cherishes. “It makes me proud to say I have been a member since 1978, watched it grow, and seen it remain strong even with the big banks trying to take over,” he reflects.

Through his dedication, Lance embodies the spirit of community and service that has kept the credit union thriving for a century.
